Human operators, augmented by intelligent systems
Disruptive Applications is a veteran led defense integrator that connects frontline experience with modern tools. We help small and mid sized units get better equipped, better trained, and better supported without waiting on prime contractor timelines.
From night vision and armor to OPFOR training and Blue UAS, we build complete packages that are grounded in real missions and aligned with export regulations and security requirements.
The problem we kept seeing on every range and in every inbox
Units and agencies know what they need to accomplish. The friction is everything in between.
Gear is sourced from a scattered vendor list with no one responsible for how it all fits together. Training is often scripted in slides that never match how people move under night vision, in armor, and under stress. Compliance and export controls sit in a separate stack of emails that slow everything down or kill good ideas before they start.
Disruptive Applications exists to close that gap. We combine field experience, a vetted partner network, and an aggressive use of automation so that integrated solutions can be scoped, validated, and delivered without sacrificing security or due diligence.
Fragmented equipment
Multiple vendors, mismatched lead times, no one accountable for the whole kit.
Training that lags reality
Scenarios that do not reflect how current adversaries actually fight or adapt.
Compliance as a blocker
ITAR and export rules treated as red tape instead of design constraints.
Operational stack
AI and automation as a force multiplier, not a replacement
We compete with much larger organizations by pairing experienced humans with an AI driven Automation. Our systems watch contracting feeds, vendor updates, and regulatory changes and surface opportunities, conflicts, and patterns in near real time.
Sean and Avi still make the calls. AI and automation just handle the heavy lift of collecting, sorting, and comparing information so we can move faster without cutting corners. Every decision that touches safety, legality, or end users stays firmly in human hands.
Technology amplifies our judgment. It never replaces it.
Contract and market intelligence
Automated agents scan public procurement portals and partner updates so we see tenders, policy shifts, and technical changes early. That feeds into a human review process that decides what to pursue and how to structure solutions.
Solution design at speed
We use AI assisted tooling to assemble draft equipment lists, training outlines, and compliance checklists in hours instead of weeks. Sean validates the tactics and kit. Avi validates the vendors, terms, and delivery realities.
Continuous adaptation
When requirements shift, we update the model, not just the slide deck. Our internal tools can re run scenarios, reprioritize vendors, and highlight risks quickly so we can adjust on short notice while staying inside legal and security boundaries.
Built on real missions, not just slide decks
Our work is shaped by deployments, live fire ranges, and advisory roles with real consequences. That background keeps our solutions honest and grounded.

Night operations training and live force on force events that stress test tactics, communication, and kit under pressure.

Advisory and training support alongside partner forces, with a focus on irregular warfare and cross agency coordination.
The team behind Disruptive Applications

Sean Garabedian
Field operations and training
Sean is a U.S. Armed Forces veteran with more than fifteen years of experience in high risk security, tactical operations, and irregular warfare. His background spans patrol and surveillance work, intelligence gathering, and leading teams in demanding environments across multiple continents.
He has supported Ukrainian defense and special operations elements, worked alongside the Peshmerga in Kurdistan, and contributed to global counter terrorism efforts. Sean designs and runs OPFOR programs, live fire ranges, and complex training events that reflect how current adversaries think and adapt.
At Disruptive Applications, Sean owns everything that touches tactics, kit integration, and training realism. He makes sure that the solutions we propose can survive contact with real use, real stress, and real friction.
Together, Sean and Avi bridge the gap between frontline reality, modern technology, and the paperwork that holds it all together.
What we deliver
OPFOR and tactical training
Realistic opposing force programs and live training events tailored to your mission set, terrain, and constraints.
Night vision and electro optics solutions
Integrated NVG, thermal, and laser packages that include mounting, power, sustainment, and training.
Armor, helmets, and soldier systems
Plate, carrier, and helmet configurations tuned for protection, weight, and mobility, with attention to sizing, spares, and supply.
Blue UAS and sensor integration
Support for selecting and fielding vetted small UAS and sensor platforms with realistic TTPs and training, not just demo flights.
Compliance and export support
ITAR aware planning, vendor vetting, and documentation so that solutions are buildable, defensible, and audit ready.
Proposal and tender support
Assistance shaping requirements, equipment lists, and training lanes for specific tenders or internal initiatives.
A simple rhythm for complex work
Listen and map the mission
We start with how your people actually operate. Units, environments, threat profiles, and constraints come first. From there we map the gaps in equipment, training, and support.
Generate options, then pressure test
Our AI assisted tools assemble multiple options quickly. Sean runs each option through a tactical and training lens. Avi runs them through a vendor, logistics, and compliance lens. Only packages that work in both worlds make it forward.
Execute, refine, and support
Once a solution is selected, we coordinate with partners, manage documentation, and support implementation. Feedback from the field loops back into our models and playbooks so the next iteration is even sharper.
ITAR registered. U.S. based, with vetted international partners. Built to withstand contract audits and real world stress.
